Can’t decide whether to get your scuba certification while on holiday or at home before you travel? With a PADI® Open Water referral, you don’t have to choose!
A PADI referral allows you to complete most of your scuba training at home – then, finish your certification dives anywhere in the world. This means you can support your local dive shop and avoid studying during your vacation at the same time. This means you get to spend more time enjoying your holiday, rather than spending most of your time training in a pool!
You can become a PADI Open Water Diver in 3 simple steps:
1) Complete your eLearning from the comfort of your own home.
2) Attend 4 confined pool sessions at The Dolphin Leisure Centre in Poole to learn all the skills you need.
3) Jump on a plane to another PADI Dive Centre anywhere in the world and complete 4 Open Water dives.
By booking onto the Referral course you'll get all of your learning out the way, which will save you at least 2-3 days of your holiday! Then you can enjoy the clear, blue, warm waters of a lovely, hot sunny country. Once you've qualified you can then go diving and check out the local underwater life without having to do any skills!
What should I do now?
Click the link above to open up our course schedule. Select any of the PADI Open Water Courses for more information - please make sure you select the REFERRAL OPTION to book onto your pool sessions. You'll be sent your eLearning within 48 working hours - this will need to be completed before your first session on the Wednesday for your orientation evening.
This does not offer the four open water dives to complete the course. If you decided to complete your open water dives here before you do go on holiday you can add these 2 days for £155.
For hygiene reasons you will need to purchase your own mask & snorkel for the course. If you decide to join us for the open water days you will need to purchase neoprene boots.
